Explain in Short Answer:
In chapter V, Linda points out that although for whote women beautty is a virtue, for black women, it is a curse.
Beauty is a curse for black women because then your owner would want to take advantage of you by threst and violence. Just like Mr. Flint tried on Linda Brent. On the other hand this would not happen to white women.

In chapter 6 "The Jealous Mistress," Linda reflects on the intricate relationships between black and white women and between white men and white women. In essence, she points out that both black and white women are at the mercy of the white patriarchal system that enables white men to exercise complete control over their wives. HOW IS THIS EVIDENT IN THIS CHAPTER?
It is evident in the chapter because when Mr. Flint's wife Mrs. Flint tried to protect Linda Brent from sexual abuse from her husband he controlled her. Mr Flint didn't allow Mrs. Flint to protect Linda. And if white women were controlled by white men then so would black women

"Slavery is terrible for men; but it is far more terrible for women. Superadded to the burden common to all, they have wrongs, and sufferings, and mortifications peculiarly their own."
This quote means that just like men suffered in slavery, women suffered so much more. For example, Linda suffered a lot emotionally because Mr. Flint would always tell her that if she wouldn't do something he wouldn't set her free. The quote also means that every indivdual had their own suffering.
